Today we went to an old age home, similar to an independent living or assisted living facility. We visited with the residents, prayed with them, played bingo and the pastor gave a brief sermon. We did this last year in March, so it was great to see many of the same people and that they remembered us. People from the congregation signed up to make different types of pudding and cakes that we brought to serve them with coffee.
Lizel had a water tank installed in her back yard. This fills up with the municipality water so that when the water shuts down she still has access to water. We helped to put her yard back together.
After dinner Lizel got out her guitar, Hermi lit some candles, and we all sat together singing worship songs. Such a beautiful way to end our day.
